Healthy Living – October

25th October

GOAL:  To improve my skills in badminton and use it to give me exercise and a way to improve my overall well-being.

This month in badminton I have been working more on my prior skills, I have improved a lot by being more able to use the techniques I have been taught while in gameplay. The practice has also made me focus more on the more recent things I’ve learned which have caused me to not be able to perform the basic techniques I have learned near the beginning of learning badminton.

As a result, by next month I want to improve my basic skills while keeping the same level of confidence I have in the recent techniques I have learned. At home I have been practicing motions with my badminton racket to make myself more used to the motions, I have also wanted to try to go to badminton courts outside of practice days to make sure I get a good amount of exercise and can achieve my goal and hopefully do even better.

Since I have decided to take badminton more seriously, I want to try and try out for the badminton team for seasons three and four so that I can use the skills I have learned in school.
