Science is hard for me because it is usually invisible

One thing I regret the most about this test is that I missed a question; I forgot to simply answer it. I had lots of time, I checked it many many times but I was checking “If my writing was answering the question”. I didn’t think that I missed a question and it was a 2 mark question which I could have easily got. If only I have done that question then I could have gotten a level higher. But I feel that that is part of the learning.

So I looked on to the test and realised how some of the concepts that I thought I had understood was wrong. Perhaps I misunderstood it. These days, during the test, I feel like I am answering all the questions very well but when I get it

between before and after the test. I had tried to find out why. But I still don’t have the answer to it. C3 was the unit I focused the most on. I made sure I know what the teacher is talking about. I reviewed thoroughly answering all the “I can” statements in front of the booklet. But there were some things I did not recognise in the test and I don’t remember learning about. That was the questions about decomposition. But after the test, I realised that it is just talking about bond breaking.

Overall, my feeling was okay. It was the worst scored test in G9 but I hope to use this as my learning journey and opportunity.
