My first engagement was an interview with Claire Psillides, who is the Head of Environmental Sustainability in UWCSEA East Campus. This interview turned out to be really helpful to me as I had the interview before the summer break started, and Ms. Psillides was very helpful as she gave me ideas on who I could contact and interview. She also told me about many different resources I could read and look into to be more familiar with my political issue and even gather information from it to use in my report. An example that she gave is Green Is The New Black. After she had given me contacts, I then started to ask her the questions I had prepared. From the interview, I was able to receive so much valuable information about how Singapore is working towards being more sustainable, but also what the Singaporean government needs to work on which according to Ms. Psillides is systematic change.
