Introduction + Looking Ahead: IB and CAS

CAS

The most important people in my life are my parents. They have always been my support system and encourage me in whatever I do. They were so important in making my transition into IB easy; from the first day we got our subject forms right up till now. They made sure that I never felt pressured into taking any subjects and always respected my decisions. Although I am nervous about the workload and balancing everything over the next two years, I know that I can always count on them to give me advice and support me no matter what I do.

They were also crucial in shaping my goals for CAS. From a very young age, they nurtured my interest in writing, music, and dance. I hope that this year a lot of my CAS experiences can link to these areas because I genuinely love doing them. I hope to become a more creative and balanced person by the end of the two years.

Something else that I wanted to do these two years was push myself out of my comfort zone. I’ve always been quite introverted and this year I hope get involved with some leadership in the school.

Although I’m quite nervous, I can definitely see myself changing for the better through these experiences.
