Healthy Living: August 2022

This month was about trying to get back into a routine where I try to run at regular timings. I hadn’t run in about a month, and so doing it this month was especially difficult for me, especially when I had set myself a goal to run 7.5km which I did not meet last month. I eventually got past the 7.5km twice, once on the treadmill and once outside. During the last session, which was on the treadmill, I got a bad stitch around the 6km mark and I had to slow down because I couldn’t breathe. I managed to run the last 500m of the 7.5km, and it lasted for around 50 mins. I’m also starting to find a routine when running in the open air, pausing at certain points along the track because it feels natural to me to rest a little becfore continuing.
