How might collaboration have been important this term?

This term, I’ve had to learn to work with people who think very differently than I do from simple assignments at school to larger-scale projects. The first thing I realized was that not everyone has the same approach that I take when I try to get closer to my goals. I tried using the mindset of “Oh, I don’t have to get along with this person as long as I get work done” however I know that at the core of who I am, I need to be able to get along with the other parties involved. Having the ability to empathize has certainly helped as I think I have genuinely made strides in my work ethic. I look forward to working with more people as the academic year progresses, and the lessons I will learn from them.
