I have signed up for the UWC Zwift cycling team/training activity. During the holidays I recently got into cycling and thus was interested to see how training could be applied to improve my physical ability. For the first few sessions, I got used to equipment as well as the software ZWIFT, I was able to conduct an FTP test which gave a base line of my current ability. This came out to be 140 watts, or around 2.5 W/kg, I have set a target at the end of the term to reach 160 watts for my FTP. (LO1) I also committed to at least 2 sessions per week, which may seem little but with the workload of IB was difficult to manage. (LO4)
