Updating Portfolio Website

The portfolio website was arranged according to the newly, sorted google drive. The job now is to start putting content into the categories we made previously. After a few weeks of writing and organizing information, we finally have a few things to put on, including personal reflections (each member will be posting one), event journals, and the team introduction.

The group members shared their writings through Google Docs so that I could upload them. We are also gathering photos from each member to finish our team introduction.

It’s pretty clear to us what we will be working on for the next few sessions, perhaps weeks. Honestly, the website is relatively empty despite all the things we have put in. I personally think this is because our website has loads of categories, for example, the Event category itself has seven subcategories, which all of them would have their own introduction and galleries. For instance, I believe this would be a long-term project for our service group to do. This website should be updated almost monthly, and it would look complete probably by the time when the current IGCSE students get to IB. We are not in a rush or whatsoever either. Some members have mentioned to me about putting in journals of older events, but I apologetically disagreed; I do not think it is the best solution for filling up the website. The old events are definitely something worthy of note (in fact there are tons of photos we can use), but one or two of those journals would be sufficient. What Zero Waste Service needs right now is getting back at the events, and for that, it solely depends on the situation of the pandemic. Here below is a sample page of our website:
