I did three runs that during the remote learning, era, I guess I’ll call it. These runs were quite tough restrained(I only did 1km), as this was during a time when I was socially distancing, so the only place I was able to run was in my condo. However, this really opened my eyes to a few things. Many people aren’t as lucky as I am to be able to even go on a run, and have the amount of open space I have to do this. This really made me appreciate what I do have, and many of the things I would usually take for granted. In addition, these runs really made me realise the toll that online learning and sitting around took on my body, and that I really need to move more. These were the eye opening runs, leading on to progress and growth, not just physically, but also mentally.
