After conducting two trials of my experiment, I have begun to feel confident with my method and have learnt about the process of conducting a carefully detailed experiment. I have learnt to be a critical thinker as I was forced to learn new tools and processes, along with this I have learnt more about understanding the effects of my independent variables, as I gather trends I was able to find a deeper understanding in the topic. Asides from apparatus, I have also learnt more about how to handle my time and becoming efficient as I decided to conduct three experiments at once to stay on time.
After conducting these experiments, I became more confident with the method as I solved the complexities of my methods, and completed two trials of my experiment as it was something I didn’t expect to do.
However, there are still areas which could be improved upon, such as my organization and time management. As my experiments are particularly long(one hour) I would have to find various ways to shorten the time, and the volume of chemicals used.
