Diary Entry – Oedipus

How dare Tiresias accuse me of such a terrible thing! To insist that I was the curse of the plague affecting my country! I shan’t believe it. That old coot has lost his mind! To make such a ridiculous assumption! He’s probably just conspiring against me. Regardless, I will ignore that blind traitorĀ  Tiresias and find the killer myself. After all, I had already saved Thebes from the sphinx before, so of course finding the killer to Thebes’ previous king should be no big deal. And yet, I still feel this looming sense of dread in the back of my head. Nonetheless, I shall still save my people from this awful plague!
