11/3/18 Beetroot Salad and Green Salad

Today I made 2 different types of salads.

  1. Sliced Beetroot with a honey, vinegar, olive oil dressing. To make this first I roasted a beetroot for 45 minutes before peeling it and slicing it using a mandoline slicer. Then I seasoned it with salt and pepper before putting the dressing on. The dressing was 1 part vinegar, 2 parts honey and 2 parts olive oil.
  2. Green salad with tomatoes, olives, cucumber and a balsamic, garlic, mustard dressing. This salad was simpler. The dressing was 1 clove of garlic grated with balsamic, mustard and olive oil.
