My name is Jaime Dimalanta and I have taken honours mathematics 1 (grade 9) and Advanced Algebra/Pre-Calculus. I feel that I enjoy math and being challenged to solve questions, at times it even excites me. On the continuum I would put myself at around the middle, where I am able to work things out myself but help is also available. When I am stuck in mathematics, I first use photomath for help and if I still do not understand it, I will message a knowledgeable friend for help. I find that one of my biggest strengths in learning mathematics is being interested. I personally feel that I can be very involved and active in class, while also trying to engage others in conversations. In the first few weeks of grade 11, I would like to focus on being persistent and optimistic because when I get a grade worse than what I had expected, I get very down about it.
