HS Psychology Society

Towards the ending of term 3, I’ve really been facing a lot of challenges with my group in Psychology society. My group was made up of a fair share of seniors (in grade 12) and one other girl from my grade. It’s become difficult to coordinate and work with everyone because the grade 12’s are no longer coming to activity as frequently (which is understandable considering everything that is coming up from them academically) and the girl from my grade is either never there or doesn’t compete what she is responsible for in the project. What is really unfortunate, isn’t that they aren’t communicating.

At the moment, there have been times when no one but I was present during our session and it’s hard to complete everything by myself. I decided to take some advice from one of the teachers because I was very unsure about what I could do in this situation. I’m really glad I reached out because she gave me some good advice. The best approach I could take was to either start a new project or join an existing project.

I’m really disappointed that I wasn’t able to see through the project we had started as a team, but I think that taking some time to brainstorm what my next steps should be would help me to show perseverance and stay committed to exploring how else I can be involved in this activity.
