DPERS: Helpful Peer

I think one person that has really taught myself a lot about design in my Grade 9 DPERS would have to be Arsh Dutt. I think the most important thing I learned from him would have to be “to show, don’t tell”, as it makes it so much more visually compelling and interesting for the audience or the client. He also showed me to creatively include information from the client’s specification slides, as then it is not just bundles of writing. He has really supported me through the creative process and taught me new things. As Seth Godin says: “That’s what great design and great copy do. They speak clearly so that people don’t have to listen so hard.”
