– I think that something that is very thought provoking is that Islam is a religion that heavily looks down upon things such as honour killings and violence and the fact that the father still went ahead with this is very interesting. I would personally never disregard my integral values just for a chance at petty revenge.
– I like the perspective of the lawyer as he seems to have more modern and libertarian view points on this issue. I also like how he thinks that this should be treated as any other murder case and that the father should be punished. He also brings up how women are being mistreated and are at a disadvantage in today’s society.
I agree on your thoughts on the islam religion and the lawyers perspective. But perhaps, you could add a little more detail on your own opinion instead of writing about things we already know.
