The Structure of an essay
The structure of an essay must be logical and persuasive. To develop your interpretation of the text (and question), your essay must organise all supporting ideas, evidence, examples, analysis and discussion into points and paragraphs.
your Essays should have:
AN introduction
That asserts the thesis
Body paragraphs with topic statements to open them
Made up of 2 to 4 connected points with evidence and explanations.
A conclusion
Every part of the essay should support the thesis.
