What Role Does Poetry Play in Your Life?

Poetry honestly does not play that big of a part in my life, but for the times I do find myself reading them, I thoroughly enjoy it. I love poems that rhyme because I find them satisfying to read. I also have written a few poems before, which is something I enjoy to do.

How do you experience poems? Do you turn to them for inspiration or joy? For solidarity in moments of sadness?

I like to read poems when I’m feeling pensive, they don’t really make me feel happy or sad – just thoughtful.
