After the first official week of CAS, I think I have really enjoyed the set of creative activities I have signed up for. The only thing I have struggled with so far is my service. Initially, I had signed up for a service involving children which is what I am passionate about. It as unfortunate that I was not allocated this service as I was really hoping to work with children for my CAS service for the year. After this, I was allocated to another service not of choice however that was soon cancelled due to other reasons. Because of this, there was the service running hour amongst another service option left which I had finally chosen. I think I underestimated the service running hour as it was a lot more work than I expected. Although I was a bit nervous before my first session it certainly was a new and interesting experience that I am now looking forward to.
