Boxer Racism

Around 1993 or 1994 Sanjay Perra went to University in a small military town, some of the people in the town were racists and would yell out racist sentences that said he wasn’t welcome in England.  One night he went to a bar with his friends, as he was ordering their drinks a large man leaned towards in an attempt to block his path. Perra didn’t take notice to this. As soon as the very large man had done that, he knew that he and his group of friends did not like him. A few minutes later the man told him that he was going to knock his teeth in, Sanjay didn’t hear him and asked him to say it again but unintentionally provoked him. The man said let’s take this outside, this is because the bouncer would have thrown them all our of the bar. Perra had no intention of fighting him, he knew that his friends who were all boxers and all looked menacing would approaching them. Perra had a cunning idea, he decided to make “cheeky” comment referencing a film that was popular around the time. The people who a second ago trying to fight him started to laugh, he started to feel like he had a connection with them for a second, but that was right before his friends had arrived, as soon as they had arrived the men felt threatened by them and decided to leave.
