LO4-Show commitment and perseverance in CAS experiences. Students can articulate the stages from conceiving an idea to executing a plan for a CAS experience or series of CAS experiences.

Despite the basketball season coming to an end, I feel that I’ve shown great commitment and perseverance in this activity. Our team did not go through the playoffs, but, I’ve learnt important things throughout my time playing basketball. I was able to further develop my skills from Grade 10 and effectively adapt it with the new plays I learned in my new team. Initially, the plays were a bit challenging to implement in as we were all new to them, but as we worked collaboratively as a team, we were able to implement it quickly. However, this became too late, if we could have been at the same level in the middle stages, we would definitely have had a spot in the playoffs. Nonetheless, it has been a good journey and an educational one too that has improved my self-confidence and made me learn new things that I wasn’t capable of before joining basketball.
