LO5-Demonstrate the skills and recognise the benefits of working collaboratively:

Being in the service for one year, has been exhilarating, as I am able to see the impact the UWC community has on the local community. Around 10 new Grade 11 students joined this service, in which the first few weeks for them was to learn about being a “guide.”  This academic year (Grade 12), I am not part of the service with school, as Running Hour is not available to Grade 12’s, but I have joined this service externally. Overall, I am extremely happy to see more Grade 11’s getting to know about this service, and hope that more people join into the service, as origianlly in 2018 we only had 5 students within the service. Because, through working collaboratively we can learn more about the community we operate in and highlight some areas for improvement within.
