Who We Are

Green Umbrella NGO works on the outskirts Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to develop living and education standards for an entire community. They provide quality education to students from impoverished backgrounds, from Kindergarten to Grade 4 at the Karuna Kumar School, which was built in collaboration with UWCSEA. The Green Umbrella GC raises awareness about the NGO as well as financial aid for development programs in the community. The GC supports Green Umbrella’s building and infrastructure projects that considerably improve quality of life, education and access to clean water. This year as a GC we will be introducing and running our Gratitude Valentine’s Event and will be working toward helping the school develop an energy system from renewable sources as well as trying to implement a solution to reduce the consumption and littering of plastic within the community.

Their Mission: To provide a holistic approach and transformational education for Cambodian youth.

Their Vision: Green Umbrella through its educational programs will develop future leaders who use their skills, knowledge and values to positively impact our local community and our country Cambodia.
