This year’s production is called Behind the Beautiful Forevers by Katherine Boo. It’s a play about a slum in Annawadi in India and all of the side stories, relationships, and events that take place. It’s a heartwarming but also very jarring account of poverty that covers a variety of topics and will leave the audience taken aback and with plenty to think about an reflect on.
