SEASAC Tournament

LO1 (Self- Awareness)

Prior to SEASAC I was nervous. I had never played with teams of a high level from all over South East Asia before, and I was nervous because of all I had heard from my teammates about how well they played. Though we had already practised at other tournaments and with in-season games, I felt that the level of volleyball we’d be playing was going to significantly increase. Throughout the SEASAC weekend alone, I felt that my skills and overall awareness of myself playing Volleyball improved by a lot. IN volleyball you constantly need to recover and adapt after mistakes, it forced me to reflect on my skills and weaknesses and adjust accordingly. Though we didn’t win SEASAC, and I was disappointed that we lost some games that I know we could have won, I think that the learning and progress our team had made throughout the season to lead up to this tournament was something to be proud of.
