Ranking IB subjects ToK

Math

I ranked Math as first as it is the most important to me, almost everything needs math. Mathematical knowledge is shared throughout the world and teachers teach them to students, and us students believe what they say so we don’t question it.

Physics

I think Physics is made up of different theories and some may be true or may not be, but it helps us understand why things work and how it works. I think that it is important as it gives reasoning to things that are not fully explained.

DT

DT is interesting as it teaches us the way things are made and the big process there is to actually physically make it. There is a lot of psychological aspects as well as ergonomic aspects to it.

Psychology

I think that psychology is in the middle as it is good and interesting to know the way we humans behave what what influences us to behave that way, the data does consist of many case studies to help prove the knowledge but we cannot be certain.

English

I think english is important as we do use it everyday and it can help us structure arguments as well as essays but I do not think it’s as important as Math or Physics.

Spanish

Spanish may be useful to know to communicate with others however to me it is the least important subject as I don’t think I would use it much in the future

Ads in different cultures

This ad is making reference to the tv show Game of Thrones which can show “American Culture” as it is a western ad from America and many people there would understand that reference. Pepsi probably did this as it is a very popular tv show in America and people could relate to it as they may watch the show and people may like to buy pepsi because of that.

This ad was advertised in China and I think that if it was advertised in a westernised country people wouldn’t understand it, it represents their culture and what they believe in. I think it was advertised to relate to chinese culture.
