One of the reasons that I chose this activity was because I have not done anything like it before. TedEd takes us on a journey, with the final destination being creating and delivering my own talk. This is a unique opportunity for me to develop invaluable skills that are applicable in other aspects of both my learning and personal development. This activity is very self driven, and because of that it is up to me to be in control of what I learn. This is one of the first experiences that has given me the opportunity and agency to really discover what I like to talk about, and what I have taken away from each of my experiences.

Above is a quick mind-map that I did in the first few sessions about a potential idea for my talk. This was interesting because although I understood this message from my perspective, I also had to connect it to a broader message and audience, so being able to extract that was engaging.
