My View on Stress

Before watching the TED talk I viewed stress as something that affected a person mentally and physically, something that caused a person to perform worse in a task or fall sick. However, after watching the video, I realized that stress is anything but that, it’s something that helps a person rise to the occasion and something that motivates people. I used to believe that stress could cause a person’s health to deteriorate and increase their risk of dying, however, I learned that people who have increased the chance of dying or falling sick from stress are people that believe stress causes these symptoms. Stress is something that every person goes through during a period in their lifetime but different people deal with it in different ways. I think the best way to deal with stress is to accept it and use it as a motivator to help you achieve something
