Today we were given a presentation by Danny Raven Tan who told us about his journey through experiencing cancer, his father dying and his mother’s dementia. I was very surprised about how he didn’t tell his parents about his cancer and would liked to have asked him if he has since told his mother or not. I thought that his scar photoshoot was very inspirational and that it was an amazing thing for him to have done. I would really like to write my article about him and specifically the story about his scars but I am still waiting to meet the other artists.
