• How far do u get to tell someone’s story?

I would say that it depends on the situation. In this case, I think it’s alright for Skeeter to tell the whole story of the maids as there is no one else who will get to tell their stories. They don’t have the correct position to tell their story (the maids and black whereas Skeeter is white). Whereas in another case, if someone were to ask me what is it like for High Schoolers in UWC today, just me answering it wouldn’t be fair. I’m just telling my perspective and not the feelings of every person in High School. Unless I took a summary of every individual. Each person has a different view. I do not feel qualified to represent everyone’s experience.
