The initial struggles of my whole EE journey included having to feel my way through of what to write, being unable to control the structure and logic, and many more. Therefore, finishing was a big accomplishment itself for me, and probably will be a big experience when I look back. Between the initial submission and the final submission, I really tried to make every statement work out logically and synthesise the case studies and theories since that was my biggest problems I faced at the start–the essay was too long for me to work out the structure just in my head. Also, looking back during the EE week, I felt I had pressured myself to get on with the writing when I was still slightly unsure about my research. Thus if I were to do the essay again, I would make sure I plan carefully first without rushing on to get the writing done and understand that the research is not finished even once you have started writing.
