Lock down Reflection

During the lockdown, I’ve heard from several who have struggled to adjust to online learning. I think that for me the change wasn’t too hard though it definitely has impacted my learning. In my opinion, learning online is harder than in class but for me, the main problem is that I think we’re doing work at a much slower rate than we would’ve in class. This new experience has pushed me to develop my self-learning skills and I think that I’ve been able to teach myself more and more about different topics from looking at the resources given by teachers. I think that right now I need to be pushed to learn more because in truth the lockdown is an opportunity to explore my hobbies (as long as they’re not outdoors). Something I’ve been trying to get better at is track. Since the pool, gym and tennis courts are closed, running and also home workouts are what I rely on. I’m pushing my running because joining the track team next year and participating in races is something I want to do. It’s important that instead of focusing on the negatives of the situation I can also see the opportunities I have to develop my interests.
