Whilst I initially thought about doing a psychology EE or a world studies (bio and psych) essay, I hadn’t developed a focused enough research question which certainly made the EE process daunting and a bit stressful at the beginning, as I was worried I was already falling behind. However the help that I have received from both my supervisor and Ms Ashton has given me a clearer idea of the path my essay will take and in honesty I think my WS EE now, which involves psychology and sports science is one which interests me the most and I am more excited to continue on this journey. Being advised to use sports science did make me feel quite nervous as it isn’t an IB subject offered here, however it is definitely an area which I am interested in researching further. My next challenge is making sure both these subjects are appropriately used in my EE.
