Project Week Planning reflection

After debating, we chose Taipei, Taiwan as our destination.

The flight to Taiwan was very expensive given our budget of 1000 SGD which includes insurance, aid kit and many minor expenses. One mistake my group and I made is that we spent too much time comparing various flights, and after a few days we realized that the tickets are selling out really fast and prices skyrocketed. After finally booking a flight leaving at 6am (the cheapest one we could find), we began our process of planning the itinerary.

To save our budget, we planned creativities to national museums and smaller-scale private shows of historical paintings, and also the local “Ningxia Night Market” to experience the traditional dishes of locals at a very low cost. For service, with the help of another group, we contacted Neihu Recycling center to help with recycling project there.

Day 1:

We will arrive at TaoYuan Airport T2, and to go to our hotel: Imperial Hotel Taipei

  • Take Line 1819 Bus from T2 and get off at Kulun Street Intersection. (Must walk for 16 min to Imperial Hotel)
