How has lady Macbeth changed when compared to her first appearance in act 1?

When we were first introduced to Lady Macbeth in Act 1, she appears supportive of Macbeth’s plan to kill King Duncan, but in act 1 scene  7, she begins to threaten Macbeth’s manliness and strength in order to pressure him to go ahead with the murder of Duncan. The audience’s perception of Lady Macbeth chances especially towards act 2. In act 2 scene 2, the murder is ready to take place. And after being convinced and putting his manliness and valiant nature at stake, Macbeth finally commits the murder. However, after the murder, Macbeth is shaken after murdering Duncan, but instead of comforting Macbeth, she is angry because he forgot to replace the dagger in order to frame the sleeping chamberlains. When Macbeth refuses to go back in to replace the daggers, Lady Macbeth says

“Infirm of purpose!
Give me the daggers. The sleeping and the dead
Are but as pictures. ‘Tis the eye of childhood
That fears a painted devil. If he do bleed,
I’ll gild the faces of the grooms withal”

When Lady Macbeth says this, it is revealing her manipulative, selfish side. She doesn’t seem to care for Macbeth and instead about her own gain. By saying “Infirm of purpose!” she is calling Macbeth a coward and once again making him feel less of a man. Macbeth says ““Will all great Neptune’s ocean wash this blood / Clean from my hand?” With the blood symbolizing the action he has done, he feels like he cannot be cleansed of the guilt is has brought upon him. However, Lady Macbeth says

“A little water clears us of this deed.
How easy is it, then!”

By saying this Lady Macbeth is essentially saying how little this murder has affected her. She is implying that the guilt from the murder can be washed off easily.

Lady Macbeth has grown to be a character who shows no remorse for her actions and will continue to manipulate others.
