Interactive Storytelling with PPIS 1 N2 Child Care Centre (LO2)

As we now enter the second half of my Interactive Storytelling service, and now after interacting with the children through a virtual call, I find myself in a better place to reflect on how I think this service has been so far. Our first virtual interactive session with the kids came with its fair share of challenges, being technical issues with setting up the call. These challenges put us in a position where we had little time with the kids and had to adjust our comprehensive plan according to what we felt was the best use of time. This shows learning outcome 2 (Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process) as because of this, we had to use our initiative to adapt. Overall, there were areas for improvement especially with adjusting some of our activities to better fit the age group of the children and choosing suitable books that fit the reading level of kids as young as 5 years old but I think we did a good job for our first session with the kids.
