Service G12 evidence

As part of the grant project and creating an AI platform that can conduct music therapy for a wider community of dementia seniors, one challenge that we faced was obtaining legal rights over music. The copyright law in Singapore is particularly complicated, and for this reason we reached out to spotify to see if they would be interested in collaborating on the project. Alongside some of the teachers on the project, I was responsible for giving this pitch for a collaboration to a senior member at Spotify. This document shows the amount of organization required for the fair and the numerous amount of people I needed to effectively communicate with. It took a lot of effort to organize the fair in a manner which was fair to the groups, such that they got 2 teachers looking at their projects and fair the teachers who had kindly volunteered to judge, and not give them an unrealistic number of projects to judge.

Pre Reflection – Diversity and Inclusion

I am really looking forward to this PSE unit as I think this is an extremely important topic – especially with what’s going on in the world today. I think in the last year there has been a lot more awareness made about our attitudes to race and the importance of having this conversation is finally appreciated world wide. I think especially coming from such a diverse school, while this has exposed me to such a wide variety of people with extremely different background, I also think that it is important to discuss how we can be inclusive of these different individuals.
