Based on the assessment, my personality type is “ISFJ” which means that I am introverted and focuses on facts and details rather than ideas and concepts (sensing), makes decisions based on feelings and values rather than thinking logically (feeling) and prefers to be planned and organized rather than spontaneous and flexible (judging). Although I was aware that I am introverted I did not think about the other aspects so it allowed me to understand my personality further. Before taking the test, I thought that I am more towards the logical side of the spectrum but after answering the questions I realized that I do make decisions that are highly based on my emotions. I am currently interested in analytical chemistry (toxicology, forensic chemistry, drug analysis) and I believe my strengths including the ability to thoroughly research information and collecting relevant facts, making thoughtful decisions and conducting organized, well-planned-out research will help me enjoy and do well this area of career interest. However, my weaknesses such as appearing to be less enthusiastic than I may really be and not being open to explore possibilities that don’t fit my current plan may narrow down my potential careers and lack open-mindedness. I believe I have to have some spontaneous aspects to do what I am really happy with because what I like and interested in will change in the future.
