LO1. Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth

I realized how yoga can be tiring and I believe I have underestimated it. In Yoga, I think I am good at stretching as I ensure that my posture is good and the correct muscles are being used. I feel like the stretches in yoga are helping my leg soleus muscle become more flexible so I am hoping that it will continue getting better before my next surgery. In the first few sessions, I learned how to focus on my breathing and how difficult it is although it sounds simple. I realized that I unconsciously have random thoughts and have to force myself to concentrate on my breathing. I hope to further improve my focus through breathing exercises. I have lost my flexibility since I quit ballet so I am happy that my flexibility is coming back and I hope that it will continue to improve.
