To start off the process of writing our EE, we had a day dedicated to doing so. I had a few main goals going into today.
- Finish any pending research
- Start my introduction
- Decide the structure of my essay
One thing I learned from today was to set realistic goals. My initial goals weren’t fully attainable as I had realized later on that I was lacking when it came to research. By going back and reconsidering the initial pieces of research I had found, I was able to further consider what I truly wanted to achieve from writing this EE.
I’m proud of the fact that I overcame my, at first, inability to start writing. But by bouncing ideas off my peers and finding a sense of clarity, I was able to achieve a rough draft of my introduction.
I will now continue writing and working away at my body paragraphs. Also, I will organize a meeting with Ms. Patel in order to make sure I’m on the right track.
