SELF-DEFENSE KICKBOXING: CAS REFLECTION 3

Kickboxing has been such an enriching experience which has allowed me to build my physical strength and prepare for times I may be vulnerable.

Recently, I’ve been aiming to improve my flexibility to ensure that I am able to kick and punch spontaneously. To do this, my coach advised me to warm up for longer periods of time and slowly kick higher up. I have viewed steady growth as my stamina and endurance has improved and am able to do more exercises in a set amount of time as compared to when I started.

Since kickboxing was a completely new activity that I undertook this year, I was forced to step outside my comfort zone and give it my all during each session.
