During this session we explored stereotypes within society and assumptions we make from day to day. We did a few self reflections in which we had to brain storm all the assumptions people make about us and all the assumptions we make about people. Sometimes we go on our normal day making these stereotypical assumptions without even realising.
We were also given littler strips of quotations I believe someone had said, and we were required to analyse them. Me and Kitty were given the saying “You speak english very well” which by coincidence is a statement I receive a lot. It isn’t a fairly easy statement to take in.
