The worst and best day of my life

In my Digital Perspectives class, we made a digital book using the book that we made during English class.

The book is about a high school girl (16 years old) called Carmen learning the most important lesson of her life through a truly terrible day. The incident between her family, school teacher and her boyfriend made her learn the importance of normal life. This is a story for everyone but I will especially recommend it to people who is having trouble with family or friends and people who are bored with their lives.

What is respiration?

Respiration is a process that all living things carry out to produce ATP (molecule of energy) by breaking down nutrients such as glucose. There are two different types of respiration which are Aerobic respiration and Anaerobic respiration.

Why does it exists?

It exists because our body needs a lot of energy to function our body and also to move our body physically. The ATP which is produced via respiration is used to supply the metabolic functions.

How cells carry out respiration?

For Aerobic respiration, they combine Oxygen and Glucose and makes Water, Carbon dioxide and ATP.

For Anaerobic respiration, they use only glucose to make ATP and lactic acid (toxic substance).

Why did that sugar bomb have to do with it?

Respiration requires glucose which is a type of sugar.
