At this time in the school year I have meetings coming up with my project week supervisor, my EE supervisor, and my UAC advisor.  All of these relationships are still quite new as I have not spent much time with these people which is why it is very important to start by depositing into the relationship banks early.  By doing lots of small things like being punctual and on time for the meetings and being prepared so that you do not waste their time will go a long way in the relationship bank as those small acts of kindness deposit a lot to the relationship bank.  Also by depositing a lot at the beginning of the relationship, it gives you breathing room for later on so incase you miss a deadline, or forget something when you meet, your advisors will not be as upset with you because you will be withdrawing what you have already put in positively, and not creating a negative account.
