After participating in the schools orchestra group for the first half term, being deeply disappointed on the first session where I was sent to the second violin section instead of the first, where at my old school, I was the proud leader of my first violin section, this disheartened my a little. However, as we were introduced to the repertoire that we were performing for, I have come to realised the gap between my abilities and those on the first violin section. After noticing this, I quickly came to my senses and started enjoying playing my role as a second violinist.
