Yesterday was a dress rehearsal for the actual Kahaani, as a performer, I feel that my part was played well. I was happy that I managed to memorise what I need to play, and also managed to improvise around the piece, making it more sophisticated and also improving my own ability to improvise. However, there was a point in the piece where my improvisation started to change the mood of the song, which was not what we wanted. I made it sound happy by playing fast staccatos, however it needed to be slow and sad.

During the next practice, I was able to play accordingly to the songs mood. Overall, I was really proud of my part in the piece.
