Some quotes I got from the TEDX video were

Some advice I gave myself and others

– I should have better colour coordination

– Switching programs

– Using UWC related colors or the peace by piece colours

– Add more things related to the client specification

I tried experimenting with the programs I was using like canva and photoshop. For canva I already had some knowledge on how to use it, and for photoshop I used it to change colours, to chose a specific font and to add the noun projects photos, I had trouble using photo shop at first because I did not understand where the tools were since I had almost never used photoshop but I have improved by ability in using canva.

Unlike my last design logo process I wasn’t very focused on the client specification, so then I had to change my whole logo background and colours of my images and fonts.I had to include a suggested font, I also had to include text such the TEDxUWCSEA_East on the poster and . I referred to the vision that they had “Reflect the purpose of TEDx and the usage of communication as a medium of peace building” by adding specific things that represent peace and piece.

I think that my final logo presented the theme of peace by piece as I included a puzzle that has been pieced along with other different coloured puzzled that have been pieced together and also TEDX mostly uses the colour red on their posters so I tried to make use of the colour red by making the background red, the dove also plays an important role because it is a dove and has an olive branch with in Christianity is a symbol of peace.
