Fitness Training – December 2019

Since my injury in October, I have not been able to do any normal fitness training. However, over the past 3 weeks, I have been going to physio training and have been doing stationary cycling 3 times a week as per usual. Not being able to work on my initial goal of building up my strength both to feel better and to prepare for boxing has taken a mental toll. Even though I do go biking, I haven’t felt as energized and motivated the past couple of months. I have started doing meditation as a form to relax my mind and reflect on this challenge. Yet, I have been improving, and my neck is slowly recovering from the initial injury, so I hope to return to gymming by January and hopefully boxing not too soon after. I need to strengthen my wrists and improve my winged scapula before then, as if I do not do so, I may be easily injured.
