One thing I’ve learned
One thing I have learned today is the proof for Fermat’s Little Theorem through the use of combinatorics. This will be the best way to demonstrate Fermat’s Little Theorem and its link to RSA in my extended essay. Other important things I have learned today are:

• How to write equations.
• Example structures of Math EE’s.

What I’m proud of
I am proud that I was able to narrow the focus of my extended essay and begin the writing process. Part of writing the introduction meant finding the focus of the entire extended essay. The activity at the start of the day in which we had to describe to our peers what our EE was about which helped clear the idea I had in my head.

What I’ll be doing next
I will continue to refine the plan for my extended essay to match new developments in thought and research. I will continue with my research on RSA and FLT prior to beginning the body paragraphs. This will help me figure out how I want to present the paper.
