Creativity, Activity, and Service
The IB Diploma Programme includes a core component, part of which is CAS. This involves doing activities that are creative or take part in the arts, get you active, and get you involved in Service. I have always been quite involved in activities, so the CAS requirments are nothing new to me. However, what is new is the reflection required, which I will post here. I will consciously reflect on 7 Learning Outcomes (LOs) that my CAS experience teaches me. I think this is valuable as these outcomes will build skills that will help me throughout my whole life. It will also serve as a break from the notoriously time-consuming academic side of the IB programme.
